I have been suffering from urethral pain, urgency since i had a kidney stone pass 9/20/13. I fell & had a bad hip injury in october and had a cystoscope it was normal. Lots of back & hip pain. Causes

Possible causes: The back and hip pain may be related to the fall, and may have caused some inflammation and residual injury with pain. And the urethral pain and urgency (if your urologist doesn't think it is due to the stone-) can come from many things, like overactive bladder, or interstitial cystitis. You may need some physical therapy for the hip and back, and a follow up visit with urology. ...Read more

4mm kidney stone xray showed it at L4. I've had a lot more pain & haematuria & now buttock/hip pain. Does that indicate the stone has moved to bladder?

Moved somewhat: It is known that these stones will hurt when they move. Bleeding will also occur. Can't always tell where it is by the pain. The closer to the bladder, the more likely you will feel it in the groin area or back. The best way to know where it is, is with an X-ray . Hope it passes quickly ...Read more
