Can Jujube Fruit Be Good For Diabetics
Not advised: Diabetics need to review the sugar content of different fruit. Be careful with fruit with fewer than 10 grams of sugar content per hectogram eg. watermelon, melon, lemon, grape, (ADA has lists). Limit fruit with 11-20 grams of sugar like banana, pomegranate, orange, apple pear. Avoid fruit with 20 grams of sugar liked jujube, raisons. The American Diabetes Association is a good start.
Grapes are healthy: Grapes are a good source of fiber and antioxidants which are healthy foods for diabetics. Grapes do contain sugars (carbohydrates). Limiting the serving size to about 1 cup is a good 30 to 40 gram healthy carb snack. Beware of grape juice as they are concentrated with the sugar from the grapes and can be a much higher carbohydrate load.
If diabetes under good control A1c 5.1 &don’t consume added sugar at all, how much natural sugar from fruit and vegetable you should consume every day?
Healthy smoothie.: I don't like your having just the fruit in there. I'd like to see a source of protein to help with overall absorption and balance. Perhaps protein powder to keep the calories down. Maybe blend it in skim milk. And I usually recommend adding some psyllium husk to get back some of the fiber benefit.See 1 more doctor answer

What foods are good for a diabetic women who is planning for pregnancy. Can I eat kiwi fruit. I am currently using folic acid for past one month.
Fruits: Most fruits are just fine. Please go online to "NuVal" and get an idea of what food, etc. Are good, not so good, and not good at all. That should do wonders for your diabetes. PS: Unless you have type 1 diabetes you are not diabetic! Your goal should be to get rid of diabetes completely. It is possible and when you get there you will tell all your family and friends with diabetes.

Difficult to say: If you are talking about the candy, then while it is possible to eat them, any kind of simple sugar like candy should be eaten in moderation, if at all. It would be difficult to answer how much, if any of it would be advisable to eat without knowing the diabetes history and how well controlled it is, and with what medication. Short answer, there is not set amount of what 'should' be eaten.
Not really unless -: You are prone to getting it, because you have a strong family history of it. Keeping you weight in check according to your height and doing regular exercises & eating healthy can reduce your chances of getting it. Excess of anything can be bad for you, so be wary.
No: When eaten as a whole, unprocessed fruit, this high fiber fruit is unlikely to worsen and may improve diabetic control.
Not really: Type 2 diabetes is caused by Insulin resistance, usually as a result of obesity. The development of diabetes is going to be indepent of the exact foods you eat. Fruits can be high in natural sugar, but sugar itself does not cause diabetes. Obesity resulting from too many calories and weight gain can lead to diabetes. Other factors can also play an important role including family hisotry.
