Hematuria: its to find out if the source of blood in urine is kidneys or bladder. You just ask for microscopic exam of urine. RBCs from kidney in the urine are deformed or form castes or rouleaux. It's not so if the source of those red blood cells is bladder. ...Read more

Should not!: While reported, is is quite uncommon. Since interstital cystitis is thought to be autoimmune, it might help, since it is secreted in the urine primarily. ...Read more
