Not that high: Pain and anxiety can raise one's blood pressure, but when the systolic number is over 160 or the diastolic is over 100, the is unlikely all related to pain or "white coat" hypertension. I would talk to your doctor if your blood pressure has been that high at your dentist's office. He/she will want to recheck that ASAP. Phenylephrine can raise blood pressure a bit too, but not that much. ...Read more
