It : It takes about 6 weeks for the nasal bones to reset (where they're no longer mobile). The swelling and bruising usually resolves sooner than that, though. Bruising normally resoves after about 2 weeks. If the nasal bones are now misalligned, you would want to have the fracture reset so that the bones heal in the proper allignment.
