Heart Burn: Hi, you probably have Functional dyspepsia or non-ulcer dyspepsia, which is common in IBS, the treatment is change in diet includes avoiding fatty food, Alcohol, Caffeine, frequent but small portions, avoiding food which makes the patient worse, PPIs or H2 blockers but Antacid like Tums (calcium carbonate) won't work, one can consider Tricyclic Antidepressant if above measures not helpful.

A CT isn't the: Best tool to diagnose an anal fissure. Are you having any bleeding? Does pain get worse with BMs? Straining? Constipation? Likely fissuring: You probably have some hairline cracks in the skin of your anal canal or at least abrasion from the harder BMs. It can get worse and become extremely painful. Use some fiber and stool softeners to control the constipation and hopefully head off bigger problems ...Read more

A few things: Ibs and blood pressure problems are diseases that need treatment in their own right. One didn't cause the other. Aniety makes both worse. I try to pick therapies that will benfit both. Biofeed back and anti anxiety meds can help both. A healthy low salt diet with execise, getting a good night sleep can also benfit both. If tolerated I would use beta-blockers to block anxiety on effects on both. ...Read more
