When you apply a steroid cream to the skin, it constricts blood vessels for several hours making rosacea appear better temporarily. In your case Irritation from shaving, shaving creams or aftershave products may be contributing to it. Use hypoallergenic products & a fresh razor blade or switch to an electric razor.
