Long Menses on BCP's: In using bcp's for two to three months in most instances periods become lighter in flow and shorter duration. In your case, the opposite occurred. I suspect that the cause is your endometriosis! most likely the hormones have initially increased the abnormal tissue resulting in increased flow. You can either continue the bcp's several more cycles, or change to luperon to suppress your cycles. ...Read more
