Also prolonged squinting can be fatiguing and uncomfortable. Your eyes may also be experiencing dryness from the exposure. You probably: have a major component of astigmatism which is more "completely" corrected by contacts up against your lens! Many people find contacts far superior to eyeglasses especially with very nearsighted folks and/or folks with astigmatism! Hope this helps! DR Z ...Read more
