Can I Take Valacyclovir For Bronchitis
I am HIV +, undetect, CD4 865, I also have genital herpes but take Valtrex for it. I had a root canal done and developed sinus infect, bronchitis. Taking 1 week now bactrim, (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) clyndamicyn, poor recovery.

No Worries: There is no know problems with taking maintenance valtrex (valacyclovir). It would be worse not to take it as maintenance and have reoccurring breakouts that can cause increase risk of transmission.
