sensation of something in eye and itchy eyes. Got like a brown mark which I can see if I pull my left eye lid up it is on the white of my eye?
Need more info: Sounds uncomfortable! Was the brown mark there before? Many people have small birthmarks in the white part of their eyes, which aren't worrisome. Itchy eyes and a feeling of grit in the eyes could be many things - allergies, small foreign particles, small cuts on the eye surface, etc. I'm not sure the brown spot is related if it is in the same place and doesn't move.
I am experiencing itchy eyes, sensation of something in eye, shadow over part of vision and eyelid redness.
Eye symptoms: Your symptoms, especially the shadow over part of vision, indicate the need for you to see an opthalmologist ASAP. You MAY have a retinal tear. Peace and good health.
When i don't wear my glasses for a long time i get itchy eyes. Should I use eye drops, and which kind?
Yes drops will help: Either artificial tear drops or allergy eye drops for itching, both are over the counter
My Son is experiencing discharge or mucus in eyes and itchy eyes. Can I give my 6 months tobramycin0.3% eye drops?
Hard to tell: Although tobramycin can be used for ages beyond 2 months, your son's problem may not be an infectious one given the presence of itching. Consider contacting your pediatrician.
Anti-allergic: This is an anti-histamine which has some degree of effectiveness (it used to be a prescription only item). It will help with burning and itching that is of allergic origin. Any redness removed will be due to the anti-allergic effectiveness.
Probably not: Optrex is not an American company nor am I aware that they legally distribute products in the USA, however they do make artificial lubricants and possibly some decongestant products also that are probably safe to use. These drops contain preservatives that sometimes cause allergy. See an eye doctor if symptoms persist.
What allergy eye drops can I purchase to relieve itchy eyes due to the high pollen count during the summer?
Antihistamine: While lubricating drops help some, antihistamines drops do the most for eye allergy symptoms, including itching & watering. There are many over-the-counter antihistamine products to choose from. Older products may be combined with decongestants which decrease redness; however, overuse of these products may cause increased rebound redness. Plain antihistamine drops are your best bet for itching.See 1 more doctor answer
