Can I Take Propecia And Nolvadex At The Same Time
If I stop using propecia (finasteride) due to side effects will the side effects continue still or it will stop when I stop using the medicine.?
Effects will stop.: The most common side effects of Finasteride (propecia) are depression, decreased libido, decreased ejaculate volume, and breast size increase. These side effects are reversible, and will disappear after you stop the medication. The half-life of the drug is 6 hours, so the medication will wash out in 1-2 days. I take 1.25mg of propecia (finasteride) once a day, for the past 7 months. How much does that decrease my sperm count, if at all?
Not completely known: Despite Propecia (finasteride) being marketed to younger men, no study of the effects on sperm number or activity were done. Studies AFTER the drug was available showed that in men who had fertility problems (determined they had sperm problems), that stopping the med improved sperm count 4x in 14 of 24 men. The other 10 had no change. In men WITHOUT fertility problems, nothing is known about sperm numbers. ...Read more

Alcohol is a poison and it never did anybody any good, ever, so stay away from it.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.

Hi doctor is it safe to take propecia (finasteride) 5mg a day for hairloss. Tryed. 1mg not. Working. Thank you?
Most effective Rx: Propecia is safe but it doesn't always work. It helps to grow hair in some, slows down hair loss in others, and has not effect in some people. It may not help you grow hair but may actually help slow down future hair loss so it's definitely worth trying. If it works you have to keep using it to maintain the effects. You may want to try it in conjunction with rogaine (minoxidil). ...Read more

Is propecia (finasteride) 5mg more beneficial than propecia (finasteride) 1mg? Which should I take? *note I'm in the early stages of male pattern baldness.
More is not better: In medicine, in so many ways, the assumption that more is better is repeatedly proven false. For alopecia, Finasteride (the generic for propecia) all one needs is 1 mg/day. But, the 5 mg pill is less expensive. So many people get the five and break it up into three or four pieces. ...Read more
