Dosage is 150-200mg-: -day, divided doses, usually start 25mg 2-3times/day. Onset is fairly soon, by the end of day 1, but 2-3 days needed 2 build up proper blood levels. It's next 2 steroids as the best, but also next 2 steroids has the highest complications & side effects. It is rarely the first drug 2 B used, due to Rx OA.
