I'm 34wks pregnant. Is it ok to take halls cough drops? It's been about two weeks and I've been taking Zantac (ranitidine) for a week so it's not r/t my heartburn.

Yes: There are quite a few things you can take. Of course, drinking lots of water is more important and right after that, getting a lot of rest. A Drop In The Bucket: Maybe they're worried about too much sugar, unless they are sugarless. In that case, maybe worried about too much Eucalyptus (menthol)--tell that to the Indian chief in his sweat lodge!
