Can I Take Azo Yeast While Pregnant
When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
Not recommended: Although I cannot say definitively that the product will harm you or the baby, I would not recommend trying a new herbal preparation in pregnancy. Besides, there are many OTC preparations/homeopathic remedies with a far better track record and are safe to use in pregnancy, there is no need to take a risk.
Can I take Azo yeast (mistletoe leaf and boneset homeopathic medicine in a probiotic base) I am 16 wekks pregnant?
I advise caution: First, I'm a professional homeopath who believes homeopathy in general is very safe & one of the very best ways to treat common maladies in pregnancy. There is no research on the use of azo yeast (& most meds & herbs) during pregnancy. But I believe that mistletoe should be avoided during pregnancy & this preparation is low-potency meaning it does have a tiny amount of mistletoe in it. See comment:.
Azo yeast: Azo yeast contains boneset (eupatorium perfoliatum), mistletoe leaf (viscum album) ; lactobacillus sporogenes. The product site states “pregnant ; breastfeeding women are advised to consult their doctor.” it does not appear to be well studied. Unless your physician is familiar w this product ; can clear it’s use – would not recommend taking while pregnant or breast feeding.

Check with your Ob: Pregnant women should always check first with their obstetricians before using any vaginal product. AZO Yeast probably would be harmless, but probably wouldn't work; it doesn't cure yeast, only treats the symptoms. There are many more effective over-the-counter productus. But your doctor may want to confirm the diagnosis and/or suggest a particular medication. Call the office. Good luck!
OTC yeast meds: Since you are pregnant, why not give your OB MD a call and get checked to confirm the infection and get a safe Rx for treatment.
Azo aren't for yeast: Azo are not yeast infection pills. They are used to reduce bladder spasms. They don't treat utis but are used to help with symptoms while antibiotics can kick in. It's best to check in with your OB if you're having bladder trouble. A bladder infection that's untreated during pregnancy can spread to the kidney and possibly cause preterm birth.See 1 more doctor answer

If I am 19 weeks pregnant and have a yeast infection is it okay to take azo yeast plus? Will this harm my baby or cause any bitrth defects?
Not a problem: I assume that you will be treating the infection intra-vaginally. None of the azo will get to your developing baby. You are also beyond the critical period during which drugs might have an effect.
Is it okay to take 1 prenatal vitamin, 1 Azo yeast pill, and the 3 required hair skin and nail vitamins in 1 day? And no, I'm not pregnant.
Skin and nail: You may be taking more Vitamins than you need. The Prenatal Vitamin likely has everything you need. Too many Vitamins can actually cause more harm than good. You would have to read the contents of the skin and nail Vitamins and see if they overlap with the prenatal (which they likely do). Then total all of it up to see if you exceed safe levels. One Vitamin a day is usually enough
I am 20 years old my last period took 4 pregnanc test said negative I been cramping all month did had a yeast infection took Azo the yeast infection is gone how can get my period? I am not on birth control but I did take the morning after pill after ha
The: The Plan B likely interfered with your body's normal hormonal balance. It may take up to three months after taking it to get a period. However a blood pregnancy test is not a bad idea at this point. Otherwise, if your period does not come in the next month see your doctor. He/she can prescribe a pill that can induce a period, and then a birth control pill can be started to stabilize your period and prevent pregnancy. Take care.
Yeast medications: AZO is safe for use but it is a homeopathic remedy. You can get effective over the counter yeast medication though and it is likely be much more helpful and effective. Vagisil is one common brand but there are many
Uti: UTI needs to be treated with appropriate antibiotics
Safe but not helpful: It wouldn't hurt to take these things together, but it probably won't help either. Azo Yeast® is a natural product that has no proven benefit either to prevent or treat yeast infections. If you think you may have a yeast infection, check with the clinic or doctor who prescribed the antibiotics.
