No: There are 6 classes of nsaids. Aspirin (salicylic acid group) & Ibuprofen (proprionic acid group) are in 2 different classes. You may not get hives if you take an NSAID from one of the other classes. Tread carefully though. Be careful: Generally I do not recommend this combination. Ibuprofen and Lisinopril together can trigger kidney failure especially if the patient becomes dehydrated. Secondly long term use of Ibuprofen can actually raise blood pressure reducing the effectiveness of the lisinopril.
