Can I Take Ambien When On Suboxone
Dual diagnosis: I recommend not taking ambien and suboxone. Withdrawal and insomnia is part of the process of withdrawal. Taking another potentially addictive medication is not recommended. I would only advise it's use under the strict oversight of an addiction specialist during the time of use under a medication of suboxone which enhances it's effects ...Read moreGet help from a doctor now ›

I have taken my dose of Suboxone at 5pm. Would it be safe to take an Ambien to help me sleep? It is now 12:30am.
I have a very strong body odor. I am hiv+. I take suboxone, effexor, complera for hiv, vistaril, viibryd, ambien. It is affecting the people around me?
MOM may be helpful.: Suboxone, effexor, and viibryd can all be contributing to excessive sweating that is the usual cause of body odor when the sweat interacts with skin bacteria. It is my understanding that a daily bath followed by dabbing a small amount of milk of magnesia (mom) under arms and on other high sweat areas often significantly helps. If any of the medications are stopped, a supervised taper is required. ...Read moreGet help from a doctor now ›
Does adderral and Suboxone taken together cancel out Ambien and its purpose? I can't feel the ambient after 30 mins
I have been on suboxone for 2 years, my Dr. just put me on ambien 5mg at night. I am feeling restless, cant sleep at night, chills. Is this side effec?
Not sure of question: Did your doctor reduce or stop your suboxone or just add ambien. What you are describing is not a typical reaction to Ambien, although each person varies. I would check this out with your doc. If he reduced you suboxone, your symptoms would make more sense. ...Read moreGet help from a doctor now ›

I'm prescribed 10mg Ambien to take every night, and been on it for 5+ months. I've built up a tolerance, is there a higher dose I can take?
No: Ambien 10 mg is the maximum dose. The problem with ALL the tranquilizer type sleep meds is you build a tolerance to them and they don't work after a while. This is why it's best not to take these every night. Taking them every 2-3 nights works better. Alternative meds that could help with sleep are Trazodone, Remeron, or Vistaril. These often are not addicting/do not cause tolerance. ...Read moreGet help from a doctor now ›
