Increased risk: of birth defects and miscarriage in the last trimester when patients have taken Aleve (naproxen). Most medications commonly used in pregnancy have insufficient data to know fetal risks. I recommend not taking it at all during pregnancy if possible. No GREAT solution: Every time I get this consult from OB I reread everything AGAIN just to check myself & see if anything new is out. But, pregnancy just ties our hands terribly.
