As long as ovulate: As long as you ovulate, you can get pregnant. Although, 20 days sounds somewhat short for a normal cycle, if you have ovulation mid cycle, you can get pregnant. Use an over-the-counter ovulation test to check for it and then you can have a definite answer. ...Read more

Can't see why not.: I imagine you're concerned that your being overweight might be a problem. And you're right. But it probably won't prevent conception. It may make the pregnancy more difficult and may make it harder for you as a mother of a baby. It's very demanding and even if you're in good shape, it can be exhausting. For example, the chance of getting pregnant in any given month is only 20-25% (1 in 4 or 1 in 5). So it can take some couples 6-8 months to get pregnant without anything being wrong.
