Did you ask your OB?: Because your OB should have already discussed this at length with you, so you should really call your OB this weekend, i tell my pts that is a blood clot behind the placenta that hopefully will go away but u shouldn't have intercourse or any bouncing around or exercise and u will need followup us in 2 weeks, in some cases it could lead to loss of pregnancy, normal to spot call if heavy bleed orpain. ...Read more

Not sure: Generally with heavy bleeding the chances of pregnancy are small. Could be a miscarriage. The highest number of miscarriages occur within the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. Wait until the bleeding stops and take a hpt. If bleeding dies not subside, see your doctor. ...Read more

HCG level post SAB: It usually takes up to 2 weeks for kidney to clear the beta HCG ( pregnancy hormones ) from the blood. So if it is less than 2 weeks the elevated level is of no concerns and please check another beta HCG in a week until it become zero. If it is more than 2 weeks then there could be multiple reasons like retained products of conception then I recommend to go to your local OB GYN for evaluation. ...Read more

Unlikely: If what you're saying is that you had a positive pregnancy test.... and then after that test you had 3 days of bleeding and then you took another test and it's negative, then likely you aren't pregnant anymore. You can take a confirmatory test (I'd wait 3-5 days), and make sure, but sounds like you miscarried. See a physician if you're worried or bleeding continues for > 7 days. ...Read more
