Pregnancy (Definition)

Probably ok: The back is dense with muscles. The heat should of dissipated and would not have hurt your baby. Burning your skin however is my biggest concern for you in this situation. Be careful. Good luck with your labor and delivery. ...Read more

I am just 7weeks pregnant. Is it proper lying on my tummy while sleeping.?

Should not hurt at 7: Weeks, uterus is still very small, as you get afrther along you will not be able to do that or lie flat on your back, if u sleep on your back when you get farther you will need to have your head propped up with extra pillows so you will not be flat on your back, left side is ideal but many women cannot sleep on their left side. ...Read more

I woke up sleeping on my back ! Can sleeping on your back while pregnant hurt the baby ? Will it cause a still birth in 3rd trimester? Is my baby okay

Baby should be fine: Normal pregnant women, or any woman, may sleep in whichever position she finds comfortable. Getting a good night's sleep is important, regardless of whether one is pregnant or not. All over the internet, people post "advice" (but without "proof") about pregnancy sleep positions, but one can read about some actual research results at: http://www.jogc.com/abstracts/full/200710_Commentary_1.pdf ...Read more

I take zyprexa watch tv before sleeping then I get tired and turn it off. Sometimes I fall asleep with it on. Tonight i can't sleep. Could it be tv?

Sleep & TV: Frequently see situations where sleep changes not well tracked and factors easily overlooked. So you might look at what was going through your mind, last time and amount of caffeine and the like. I highly suggest at least an hour without blue light screen before bed. Research says make sure you have a set wakeup time and don't vary it, that that is most effective. All the best! ...Read more

Do you think I can go out normally during the day while using Mederma on a pimple dark spot?

Sun worsens scars: I always recommend to my post op patients to use sunscreen on their incision sites for at least 6 months. If you get sun on a scar it will change the color of the scar, making it's appearance worse. Using the mederma shouldn't be affected by the sun, but you should use sunscreen to help prevent worsening of the scar. www.OmahaCosmeticSurgery.com ...Read more

Its been 2 weeks and i haven't got my period . I feel so tired all the time and all i want to do is sleep am i pregant? I also took a pergncey test

You tell us: If you did a pregnancy test then you have your answer. Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctors office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period. If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection. ...Read more
