It can be ok.: You already take Benadryl (diphenhydramine) -- often that helps with sleep. Your body may be very used to it-- if you only take 1 tab, it might be ok to take one more. Sun worsens scars: I always recommend to my post op patients to use sunscreen on their incision sites for at least 6 months. If you get sun on a scar it will change the color of the scar, making it's appearance worse.
