What is the best thing I can do if I think I have gum disease? I am a 25 year old woman who has had a recent onset of gum disease symptoms. For the past 2 weeks my gums have been bleeding every time I brush, horrible taste in my mouth, and after closer in

If: If you think you have gum disease the best thing you can do is see a dentist for an exam and cleaning. If you have not had your teeth cleaned in a while there is nothing over the counter or magic rinse that will solve the problem. You lack of dental insurance makes it even more important to see a dentist. The last thing you need is thousands of dollars of treatment because you let a small problem fester and become a large one.

Most people spend some of their discretionary dollars on things they value (cigarettes, iphone, ipad etc, drinks with friends, concert tickets, cable tv etc.) don't let your lack of insurance lead you to neglecting your teeth. If you value them spend some money on them and protect them. Prevention is a great investment.
