My medical report showed a lipoma on left side of my abdominal wall since 13 months, size is 5*4*1.3cm. Shud I get it removed. Wil it effect pregnancy?
When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
I have a giant Lipoma on left side of my waist, it's there since 8 months, I hope it does not affesmy pregnancy!
Benign lipoma likely: Lipoma is fatty tissue which is usually easily compressible; If a massive size, there might be difficulty; if the size is not massive, there is no reason why a pregnancy would be affected, as the pregnancy is almost always within the uterus which is muscular and protective. ...Read more
A 5yr lump in armpit cancerous or a lipoma? Got it after giving birth on my eldest. Now im in my 3rd pregnancy. Any treatment?
Most likely not:
Mass in the armpit for a five years most likely is a benign lipoma.
you can have a physician have it removed if it is bothering you so much.
it could be extra mammary gland, if you noticed that it will get bigger and noticeable only while you are pregnant.
your doctor can assure you or treat you. ...Read more

I have eccessive pain during intercouse and had my fallopean tubes removed due to ectopic pregnancy and was wondeeing what could be the cause?
Not the ectopic: Painful intercourse has several possible causes. The ectopic surgery is usually not one of them, though adhesions (scar tissue inside your belly from the surgery) can cause painful sex at times. Most often, pain with sex is lack of lubrication (use something like KY jelly) or lack of interest (are you making love or having sex?). An exam &specific details about when & where the pain is would help. ...Read more
Unlikely: Elevated liver enzymes in pregnancy are very worrisome and unlikely to be due to surgery you had 7 years ago if there haven't been problems before. The is a form of severe preeclampsia (toxemia) that is called HELLP. This stands for hemolysis, elevated liver enzymes, and low platelets. This is very serious and your doctor will be evaluating you for it as well as other causes. Good luck. ...Read more
Can a dermoid cyst affect a baby's development if not removed? Does 7x8x6 dermoid on right ovary neccessarily have to removed during pregnancy?
Ovarian tumors: As long as the dermoid doesn't twist on its own blood supply (torsion) and cause severe pain, in general they are left alone until postpartum. On occasional ovarian tumors need to be removed in the second trimester, but I always suggest getting a maternal fetal medicine opinion before removing if possible. ...Read more

Was my left ovary removed during my etpoic pregnancy? I know my fallopian tube was removed. Also can the fallopian tube grow back? Is it possible
They don't grow back: The ectopic pregnancy that was removed during surgery was likely on or very close to both your ovary and the tube, so both were removed. The tube will not grow back. However, the ovary and tube on the other side are unaffacted, and if you desire pregnancy they should work fine so long as they're healthy. ...Read more

During pregnancy: Most patients and unfortunately even some dentists shy away from proper dental care for pregnant women. Had a etopic pregnancy in 2013, with my ex partner. They removed my right fallopian tube and ovary during my surgery. Why am I not getting pregnant>?
Many reasons possibl: Well, for one, you only have half the chance of getting pregnant with only one remaining tube and ovary. Many times an ectopic is caused by other diseases in the tube which cause blockage or scarring. Your new partner may also have a problem with his sperm. The best test for you is a hysterosalpingogram and for him is a semen analysis ...Read more

Trust the test: The first step is to repeat a home pregnancy test. They are quick, reliable and easy to do. If the test is negative then you are not pregnant. Discuss with Gyn: Information needed is the reason your right tube was removed...Ectopic? Hydrosalpinx? Torsion? Your gyn should have information regarding the health of your remaining tube, we usually assess this during surgery (was chromotubation done?). If all normal, give it time. Confirm that you ovulate, check semen analysis, & if no success in 6 months-consider an hsg to assess your remaining tube. Take care. ...Read more
