Can I Get Pregnant During The Inactive Pills
Can you get pregnant on your "inactive" week of birth control pills? I do not understand how you are protected during that week still.
Biology: That is the week your uterus is sloughing off its inner lining since no pregnancy occurred during ovulation 2 weeks earlier. No fertilized egg, no uterine lining = no pregnancy. You cannot become pregnant during menses. The fourth week of pills is to maintain consistency of dosing so you don't forget to take one when it counts. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

She can feel relaxed and not worry, regardless of when she is having sex. ...Read more
