Veggies: Veggies are low in carbohydrates- eat to your hearts content. You can have meat, chicken, fish, turkey, milk, dairy and cheese. Eggs are carb free. Nuts are carb free so enjoy. Fruits have some carbs- you can have in moderation.

Carb limitations: The average american eats >250-300grams of carbs/day. To lose weight on average most people should shoot for <100grams a day. To maintain current weight most people should shoot for 100-150 grams/day. To lose weight quickly many people choose ketosis which often requires limiting carbs to <30-50 grams/day

Can you let me know how many carbs should you eat daily on a low carb diet?

Depends: Not all carbs are equal. The carbs in most fruits and vegetables (potatos and corn are an exception) are much different than the carbs you find in pasta, bread, sweetened cereals and drinks. Simple carbs are usually less healthy than complex carbs and more fattening. Avoid all products with processed flour, added sugar, high fructose corn syrup, etc. At all times.

Avoid simple sugars: Avoid soft drinks, table sugar, bread, pasta, starches, ice cream, anything with high fructose corn syrup. Eat vegetables, salads, beans, whole fruits with low sugar contents, chicken, fish and lean meat. Get in the habit to look at the label and see how much carbohydrates is in (high fructose corn is in ketchup, salad dressings, bread, coated french fries...).

3 choices: When it comes to food, you only have fat, carbohydrate and protein. You can't eliminate any of the 3 altogether. If you increase or decrease one of the 3, the other 2 have to change as well. Too much or too little of any of the three can cause problems. Try eating a well-balanced diet with fewer calories and more exercise. Stay away from exotic info from friends, tv or the internet.

Crackers are: carbs and its best to avoid them. Ezekiel bread is made from sprouted grains and is a good substitute for carbs. It's in the frozen food section at the market and comes in a variety of types. A bit expensive but dense so it goes a longer way than regular bread. Best fruit is what is low on the glycemic index. Mind change: "body type" / "endomorph" talk is mostly subscience. You'll get yourself lean when, and only when, you lose your taste for high-calorie, unnutritious food. Your athletic peers will reinforce this. It's great that you're doing a lot of cardio, but save the big empty-calorie tickets for when you're out with friends and even then, impress them by eating a salad. Ask your physician for guidance.

The main thing is to learn new habits by changing the old over time. Smaller portions with white smaller plates actually has been studied to help. Drink water or water-based soup or salad first.

Carbs: There is no specific requirement for carbohydrate intake, I assume your intention is to shed body fat. Restrict carbohydrate intake as much as possible By limiting intake of starch such as grains and roots (potatoes).

Please do not: Eat anything for 1 to 2 hours prior to and after lifting. Your energy (Chinese call it "qi") will be needed for lifting rather than being needed for digestion when lifting. Peace and good health.
