For 6 days i took about 1500mg chelated magnesium and stopped after noticing muscle and joint pain/clicking/stiffness. Could the mag have caused this?
Indirectly: Magnesium & calcium work together & need to be balanced. If supplementing magnesium, should also supplement calcium (or get plenty of calcium in diet). Generally intake of calcium should be twice the dose of magnesium. Potassium's also important; so eat foods rich in magnesium, calcium, & potassium. More info needed: Why the Pyriformis release surgery Have you had non-invasive treatment for "pyriformis syndrome" ? What does your Physical Therapist say about your SI Joint.
