Won't hydrogen peroxide kill every virus?

Absolutely not!: I have seen statements like this all over the internet: "if you want, use a cleaner with ingredients that can kill flu viruses, like bleach, hydrogen peroxide, antiseptics with iodine, and alcohol. But good old soap and water also work well." while that may be of some benefit on surfaces outside of the body, only standard sterilization (not disinfection) techniques are guaranteed to be effective. ...Read more

Ingrown toenail: I would avoid the nail polish until your doctor sees you back and clears you for such things. Also, as an aside, hydrogen peroxide can be quite caustic to healing tissue.
