I took 1 5mg melatonin 20hours ago now, had horrid nightmares and now I feel off and dizzy, almost drunk. My blood sugar is fine. Can it cause this?
Yes: You reminded me of own personal experience with melatonin. I tried 3 mg at bedtime and felt too groggy and "off" the next day. I don't like it but many of my patients find it helpful.
