I had a partial Nephrectomy due to Liposarcoma. Did this cause my Adrenal Gland to stop functioning? I am now on Steroids.
Lose an adrenal?: Hi. Even if you lost the adrenal on the side that had the partial nephrectomy, the remaining adrenal would be enough to provide all the cortisol and aldosterone you need.
