No period = hormonal: Hypothyroidism by itself, if not adequately treated and excessive training by itself can lead to hormonal imbalances which can make you miss your cycle. The combination of both overtraining and hypothyroidsim can most definitely lead to loss of your cycle. The symptoms of pid are concerning - what kind of symptoms are you getting? However, all of these are very common symptoms in the population, so having them does not necessarily mean that you are hypothyroid. See your Gyn!: If you have been on the pill for a long time, it is not uncommon to stop getting periods. This can happen because the hormones in the pill can prevent the lining of your uterus from getting thick enough to bleed. However, pregnancy should always be ruled out. If your hypothyroidism is being treated, it should not affect your periods. ...Read more
