I was treated for gout a week ago and my ankle feels like I have tendonitis in my right heel. I am going on vacation tomorrow and can't get rid of the pain. I iced it down, but only a temporary fix. Help!

Possibly steroids: Tendinitis, arthritis, gout are all inflammatory conditions. Assuming that you do not have an infection, your doctor may prescribe a short course of steroids which are the strongest anti-inflammatory medication. Ace bandages may help but less than steroids. ...Read more
