Can Gastritis Cause Lower Abdominal Pain
Bloating, upper and lower abdominal pain. I keep burping and wanting to use the restroom #2. The pain is kinda sharp at moments. Gastritis?
Is it gastritis or an ulcer? I have sharp middle/lower abdominal pain that is worse after I eat and at night with nausea and diarrhea.

I was at the ER yesterday for gastritis pain, they gave me mylanta and Pantoprozele, now I have lower back pain and lower abdominal pain. Are these symptoms a sign that I should return to the ER or continue my medication?
Need more info: The medication was appropriate and normally will give you some relief within 24-48 hours. I hope that the physician also gave you dietary instructions. Ibuprofen: can be irritating to the stomach, causing inflammation and pain. Other causes including helicobacter infection will not respond to removing the mediation. Stop taking the ibuprofen, use an antacid like Maalox to relieve pain and stop alcohol, irritating meds including NSAIDS, aspirin, and give it a few days.
