Can Gallstones Cause Gastritis
Gastritis is a rash: On the inside of the stomach. The stomach usually has a mucus barrier that protects it from the acid that is normally in the stomach. Many things can break down the mucus barrier and allow the acid to cause gastritis. Any stressful or painful condition can cause it. alcohol, caffeine, nicotine and pain medicines can also cause it. Acid blockers for about 6 weeks will allow it to heal. Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Last month I was diagnosed with gastritis and then yesterday I was diagnosed with gallstones is my burning feeling from gallstones or gastritis?
Probably Gallbladder: Gastritis shouldn't last a month in normal circumstances. Gall stones generally cause dull or sharp pain and not burning pain, especially after a fat diet. BTW, many people have gall stones, which don't cause any symptoms. You should have a follow up with your GP and let them review the results for a proper diagnosis. Feel better Read more
Woke up nauseous and shaky, a lil short breath what can it be? Dehydration? I have gallstones and gastritis
So I have gallstones and gastritis and I eat small meals every 2 hours as recommended but before bed time I get hungry is it bad if I eat something?
I've noticed that it takes me 2-3 days to go to the restroom (stool) is it normal if I have gastritis and gallstones? I feel like I am but I don't why?
Constipated?: Many people normally have a bowel movement only every 2-3 days and never have issues. If you stool is harder than usual or you strain to have a bowel movement, that's how we classify constipation (which is not normal). Constipation is not directly linked to gallstones or gastritis, but if your gastritis causes you to eat less fiber or less nutritious food, this can lead to constipation. Read more

In the mornings I wake up with nausea hungry but scared to vomit, what can I do in this case? I have gallstones and gastritis
Diagnosed with gastritis, and have a large gallstone, how do you know which one is bothering you? Pains right side, and back, burping, and bloating
SoundsLikeGallbladdr: The location and description of your pain sounds like it is secondary to gallbladder disease. These attacks typically occur after eating (esp. Fatty foods), last for an hour or more, are assc. W/nausea +/- vomiting, and may radiate into the back. Gastritis is an almost-universal finding at upper endoscopy; if it caused any symptoms, I would expect burning discomfort relieved by eating. Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
What does it mean when you get this super hungry feeling in the stomach it hurts before and after you eat? Is it from gastritis? Or gallstones?
Hard to know: It's difficult to know the short outline form like this. Depends on where the pain is in your abdomen, does it radiate anywhere, how long after eating does it get worse, duration, quality, etc. It also depends on the physical exam as well as a complete history. See your primary doctor for more complete a valuation, and ask if a referral to a G.I. specialist is appropriate. Hope this helps! Read more
I have gastritis & stomach inflammation. Ultrasounds shows some small nonshadowing gallstones or polyps (unsure). Should I have nuclear medicine?
Abdominal discomfort: If the abdominal discomfort is moderately severe and you are tired of living with it, then the nuclear medicine (a hida scan) is a very logical next step. Without any discomfort it will give you an answer about whether your gallbladder is actually inflammed, which is what you care about (i.e., that is what causes the pain). Then you can more decide whether you would want to consider surgery. Read moreSee 3 more doctor answers
