Unlikely: If you have no gallstones and your common bile duct is the normal size, then it's probably not your gallbladder. A small liver cyst is likely to be incidental, and probably wouldn't cause your symptoms either. Go to see your local gastroenterologist for a further evaluation. ...Read more

Unlikely: Gallstones have to pass through the bile duct which is considerably smaller than a bean and would have likely caused tremendous pain if anything near that size passed, this is more likely a fecalith or undigested material but if it persists discuss with your internist. ...Read more

Unlikely: This sounds like it could be from something called gastroenteritis. This is a bacterial or viral infection of the intestinal tract can cause diarrhea. Is often associated with vomiting however. Make sure you stay well hydrated, and if you think this is not the case, you'll need to go to an urgent care center or emergency room for intravenous fluids. Hope this helps! ...Read more

RUQ pain: Right Upper Quadrant pain with associated indigestion points to gall bladder or acid indigestion from a condition such as a Hypersecretory acid problem or Peptic ulcer, etc. Hiatal hernias can refer pain and indigestion o the RUQ too. You may have "Sludge" in the Gall bladder that is not visible on the scan you had. Follow-up with the Dr. for further eval and treatments. Best wishes. ...Read more
