My viens move and then my right hand hurts where the vein moves. being tested for lupus and dr thinks i have fibromyalgia.20yr old(f). should i worry?
Don't worry: You are being tested and to the extent possible, you'll be treated. I'm not saying these are not bad conditions but worry will do nothing to help and will make things worse. Take it seriously and find a really good supportive Health Psychologist to guide your understanding of the medical picture as it forms. Also try to keep from touching those veins (moving them). Leave it alone and try to relax. ...Read more

Can lupus cause palms of hands and feet to get real red/blushed , sometimes blotchy and sometimes they feel "prickily" when they are red/hot.
Neuropathy: It is possible. However blotchy prickly hands or feet with hot sensation are not specific findings of a particular disease. Please check with your physicians for proper diagnosis and treatment. I hope you feel well soon. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

Some advice: Location of problem either right brain, or high cervical spinal cord, and could be seen with an ms plaque, lupus cerebritis or even stroke activity secondary to diabetes. Steroids could reverse, but might cause major elevation in blood sugar (acthar might be easier). Have your doc check your meds, and eliminate any med that specifies anti-tnf-alpha activity. Make certain good vit d levels. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
With rsd, lupus, chronic edema in feet, I follow with severe, seizing cramps in hands and feet...Like small "charlie horses?!?"
Decreased oxygen: With the rsd, lupus and chronic edema this would naturally lead to some kind of compromise of blood flow to the feet. When the blood flow is diminished, this will decrease the amount of oxygen to the feet and hands while building up Lactic Acid that leads to your charlie horses/cramps. See your doctor for treatment options. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

My ANA levels are high i took the lupus test it was at a 5 but i still have pains , tingling, numbness in hands, feet, arms, legs. Told me fibromyalga
Question?: I am not sure what you are asking. The ANA is a screening test for lupus but can be seen in numerous other diseases and in people who have no disease. I assume the lupus test you mention is a dna antibody. This test does not have to positive to have lupus. Finally, about 30% of lupus patients also have fibromyalgia. See a rheumatologist if you have not done so already. ...Read more
Ana test was positive took lupus test it was a 5, but still having pains, numbness, tingling in hands, feet arms, and legs told fibromyalgia ?
My ANA was negative. Is it possible to still have RA, Lupus, or Fibromyalgia?Lyrica (pregabalin) is NOT helping the leg/arm/hand/foot pain. CRP is 6.5.
Yes due to FALSE NEG: Every test in the world has a FALSE NEGATIVE rate which tells what percentage of the time a test comes out negative but really it should say positive. It is rare for someone to have RA, LUPUS, or FM and have a positive ANA.... on the order of much less than 1%. will be FALSE NEGATIVE. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
