Yes: Whether "endometriosis" pain recurs post-laparoscopy: medical literature reports intestinal adhesions after just about every invasive abd/pelvis procedure. What was done? Were biopsies taken? Rarely are & rarely show endometrial pathology. "Wandering" uterine lining is an unproven theory. Is "Endometriosis" pain iatrogenicaly-induced irritable bowel syndrome? Ask for a biopsy report. If someone with endometriosis has a total hysterectomy, are the chances of endometriosis not coming back better if they don't take HRT after surgery?
Yes, theorectically: If a "total hysterectomy" is performed, that is, removal of the uterus and both ovaries, the body's natural source of estrogen is greatly reduced. If then hrt is taken, that estrogen can theoretically stimulate growth of endometriois, but the progestin taken will counteract the estrogen's effects.
