Can endometriosis cause bladder problems?

Yes: Endometriosis can get on the bladder and cause bladder pain and painful urination. Interstitial cystitis (ic) can also cause those symptoms. How can you differentiate between endometriosis, which causes bleeding in the rectum and bladder, and other diseases of these two organs?

Evaluation: It is uncommon but certainly possible for endometriosis to invade deeply into the bladder or rectum. A cystoscopy of the bladder and a colonoscopy would be very useful to help figure that out.

Pain in rt ovary, bladder&colon. With the suspicion of endometriosis can it be the cause even with no flow? Rt lower side is worse with full bladder??

Endometriosis: Can occur without menstrual irregularities. A Pelvil ultrasound / MRI are indicated usually followed by a biopsy. The treatment should be "in the hands of" a GYNECOLOGIST familiar with the medical /surgical treatment of the disorder!
Hope this is helpful!

Bladder pain caused by having sex? Is it something serious? What should I do?

Bladder pain caused by having sex? Is it something serious? What should I do?

Post-coital cystitis: I'm sure you can imagine the motion of sex pushing bacteria into your bladder so we recommend emptying your bladder as soon as romance allows to flush out those bacteria. Post-coital or honeymoon cystitis is a common name for bladder infection due to sex. Of course, if unprotected, pain could also be due to sexually transmitted disease so best to go see your family doc for evaluation & treatment.

Yes, if...: If voiding symptoms are related with stones, yes, you should be able to be off Flomax (tamsulosin) - a alpha-blocker. However, few elderly men like to keep it on because they incidentally noticed Flomax (tamsulosin) help improve their already quietly impaired urine flow. For details, ask urologist for specifics and details.

I had a TAH 2 months ago, bladder pain and intermittent in lower abdomen. Bladder was resected. 2 dip test were +70 leukocytes but no bugs. Causes?

UTI: If you are having bladder pain and leukocytes, there is a good chance you have a bladder infection, even if the final culture does not grow out bacteria. There is a high false negative rate. I would at least do a trial of antibiotics, or ask for another urine test.
