Seriously doubt it: Though I guess somewhere someone has probably reported a case. Never seen it. More common I see sudden acute larygospasm from mints, spices, odors, irritants. Scary as hell, but usually passes in minutes (feels like forever). GERD can be a part of this picture, which clearly is aggravated by mints. Get checked out, maybe even by laryngoscopy by ENT. ...Read more
