You need calcium: Unless the silk almond milk specifically states that it is fortified with calcium, it would not be a good source of calcium and you would need other calcium supplementation. You also need vitamin d to help build those strong bones and prevent bone-loss related diseases. Speak with a dietician regarding specific amounts daily, as this depends on age, weight, other meds taking, etc. Be strong! ...Read more

Please set up an appointment with a psychiatrist if you have any further concerns about this or if you find that you are gaining excessive weight or losing excessive weight or if you start vomiting after you eat. Between 2 cups coffee and oatmeal I can consume around 3 cups of milk daily. Is that considered too much milk for me? I don't mind it. Healthy weight
No, that's not: too much. Not drinking any milk is where many young women get into a little nutritional jeopardy because milk is such a good source of calcium. The only concern would be the fat content of 3 cups of milk. There is 2.4 grams of fat (1.5 grams of saturated fat) in a cup of milk; 7% of the recommended daily amount. So 3 cups would be 21% of daily recs. If you can drink 1 or 2%, much better. Stay well ...Read more
