Can Drinking To Much Liquids Make A Pregnancy Test Be Negative
Can drinking a few glasses of water but holding it in for a few hours give you a false negative on a pregnancy test but 5 weeks along.
It increases the: possibility of a false negative, but there's no certainty. HCG levels rise almost exponentially in the first trimester, so eventually it will turn positive no matter how much water u drink and how much urine you hold in your bladder. If it's merely a concern whether or not you're pregnant, get a first morning urine spec. when the urine is most concentrated. Dr. Anne ...Read more

Did your doctor check a fasting glucose level on you as sometimes people with diabetes feel thirsty and urinate more often. I don't know if you are having your period regularly. If not and the first pregnancy test was before or right at the time of a missed period, may wish to wait 7 days after a missed period and then retake the pregnancy test. I hope this might be helpful. The first urine of the day is usually the best time to do a pregnancy test as it is typically when a person's urine is the most concentrated. Good luck! ...Read more
