Orange juice: Contains citric acid but it is not strong enough to "burn" unless you have gastritis (generalized inflammation) A gastric ulcer is unlikely to have been "silent" until the range juice!!!! You may be one of those rare individuals who react this way to orange (and other citric acid containing) foods!

Not risky: We know that most ulcers are not caused by door or stomach acid, but by a bacteria which leads to gastritis. Soda won't cause ulcers. I suggest you moderate your intake, of course. No: Soda will NOT cause your ulcer to bleed!! However the GAS may NOT be good for you if you have esophageal REFLUX (GERD) as well as your ulcer. Ask your Gastroenterologist!
