Not the diarrhea: Diarrhea black or otherwise will not in and of it self delay your period but the cause of the diarrhea might also cause a delay in your period. Since no contraceptive is 100% though, it would be a good idea to check a pregnancy test to be sure and, if it is negative and your period still hasn't started, repeat it in 3-5 days to be sure.
