Can Constipation Cause Leg Pain
Hip with groin pain mild until constipated then pain in those areas increase with lower back and leg pain...Any ideas?
New symptom. No periods for 6mths feel constipated (I'm not) tummy pain leg pain all getting worse over last 4days now sickness. Neg preg test.
Amenorrhea: Sounds like you haven't ovulated the last few months. You may be getting ready to have a really heavy bleed. I usually tell my patients don't go more than three months without a period. I would suggest you see a GYN for a work up and a provera withdrawal. If you can't get into a GYN, see if your family physician can prescribe the provera. Fiber and fluids: Constipation can be managed in general with dietary and supplemental fiber as well as adequate fluid intake and exercise. Maybe for the groin-: Pain, though its very unlikely; leg pain: never heard of it causing it, but conceivably could happen, depending on cause of the constipation, which affects the nearby nerves to the legs, in the pelvis. Can constipation with mucous cause pain, tingling, coldness, numbness on the left side of my body from the shoulder down the leg to the foot?
Numbness w/ BM: Not usual. Did it occur during a bowel movement? Straining increases pressure in the body/head /abdomen and that can irritate nerves/ have vascular effect.or position. if does not resolve after BM would seek medical attention immediately to check for vascular /nerve effects. Yes, I think so.: Severe constipation changes the way your organs fit together and that can create pressure on nerves that connect with other nerves. So the pain can pop up in places you don't expect. Get this cleared out as soon as you can by seeing a doctor for treatment or prescription. From then on - keep yourself from getting so blocked.
