Bowel "problems" often accompany GI disorders--whether functional or "organic." if pain with meals consider peptic (acid), biliary, or pancreatic disease. Constipation doesn't: Show up on blood tests. It is usually easily treated with increasing fiber daily in diet. Lethergy can be caused by a variety of physical and emotional problems. See a good Internist to check you physically and be sure to check your Thyroid. Consider a psychological evaluation as well to help put to rest your concerns about hypochondria. Depression canals present as lethargy.

Abd, bowel symptoms: Well you can get full easily if you are contipated, but you are also 39 yo and unfortunately we are seeing colon cancer in younger pts. If you have a change in bowel habits, fatique, and belching you could have a number of things: peptic ulcer which is bleeding, or colon/stomach cancer.
