But regardless of what meds you or are not taking, it's a good idea to repeat any lab test (particularly tests done at home)that you suspect as inaccurate. All can be true: Urine pregnancy tests are rarely negative if you are pregnant. And they are not specific for what type of pregnancy (normal, not normal, ectopic, etc). Maybe other professionals will give their opinions about it, and consider reporting to the fda watch if there is any support. Possible ..: Its possible but not common. After 6 weeks there is a higher concentration of HCG beta core fragment and this can cause the Hook Effect. In some tests this has caused false negatives.
