Don't place yourself in harms way ie don't have sex until completed 7d course of appropriate antibiotics AND partner has been treated (http://www.cdc.gov/std/chlamydia/stdfact-chlamydia.htm). Nope: Ciprofloxacin is in the antbiotic class called quinolones. Some quinolones are effective against chlamydia, but not cipro (ciprofloxacin). The treatment of choice for uncomplicated genital chlamydial infection is a single dose of azithromycin; second choice is doxycycline for 7 days. If neither of these can be given, levofloxacin (one of the quinolones that works) for 7 days can be used. ...Read more

Not reliably: Sulfamethoxazole-trimethoprim (Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim)) might work against gonorrhea but it isn't reliable or recommended.
