May not be ulnar: The ulnar nerve can cause pain through out its distribution in your arm, but your pain does not fit only ulnar pain. Carpal tunnel syndrome is related to your median nerve. To have both median nerve and ulnar nerve issues, you most likely have an issue upstream of those nerves not specifically with the median or ulnar, either brachial plexus issue or cervical radiculopathy. More proximal weakness can be median nerve related but would be a more proximal level of compression such as brachial plexus, nerve roots at cervical spine, or pronator syndrome.
