Can Bronchitis Be Cured
Can bronchitis be cured w/out antibiotics. I've heard 2 points of view: 1)antibiotics are necessary, 2) they don't really help a lot. What is true?

Treat the cause: Bronchitis is usually temporary, and caused by a viral infection. If it is chronic, there is a reason - either allergies, or a sinus infection, or smoking or other irritants in the air. Sometimes there is an immune deficiency. Typical course is 7-10 days, but the cough may linger for several wks. If no fever, or nasty/colored sputum, and symptoms are improving, no treatment needed--your body takes care of that.
