Yes, but normal: Breastfeeding can suppress ovulation, causing irregular or no periods while breastfeeding. This will make it harder to get pregnant. The less you breastfeed your baby, the more likely your periods and fertility will return to normal. Don't worry: During breast feeding the cances of oviulation decrease-lactational ammennorea. You can still bleed but it's generally not cyclic bleeding ( from ovulation). The para guard does noting to help uterine bleeding. Your bleeding is not uncommon. ...Read more

Breast feed & preg: very difficult to figure out. when is best time in this situation. Breastfeeding naturally supresses ovulation that is probably why the ovulation kits are not working if she is still breastfeeding. I would continue to try, and enjoy the trying.
