Could prostate cancer appear in your bloodworm? does having a swollen or enlarged prostate automatically indicate cancer?

Could prostate cancer appear in your bloodworm? does having a swollen or enlarged prostate automatically indicate cancer?

NO: Elevation of screening prostate specific antigen (psa) is likely the first finding that leads to the eventual diagnosis of prostate cancer. Had radium seeds for prostate cancer 3yrs ago still have a Foley due to enlarged prostate would a tur help to get rid of cath or any other way ?

Possibly: I am sorry to hear that you still require a foley after a seed implant. This a very unusual complication. A TURP may help, but it does carry a higher risk of incontinence. Speak with a urologist and your radiation doctor to learn more about the risks you would personally face with this procedure. By the way, you probably had iodine, iridium, or cesium seeds as radium is not used for any more. ...Read more

Common senario: It's not uncommon for an older man to experience a worsening of prostate enlargement symptoms while ill and hospitalized. Enlarged prostates often have varicose veins associated with them.
